Mr. Gentile founded Gentile Consulting Group to help business owners and executives improve their business, profit, and lives.
He’s spent his career taking firms to the next level of business performance, by professionalizing smaller firms and bringing larger ones back to basics. Mr. Gentile has held the positions of CFO, COO, and VP of Project Controls with large and small firms alike, and has consulted on some of the world’s most renowned programs including the World Trade Center Redevelopment.
Mr. Gentile believes business should be uncomplicated – his philosophy is grounded in People, Processes, Projects, and Strategy. He encourages streamlining, standardized processes, simple management tools, business discipline, and straightforward communication. He specializes in integrating Project Controls with the financial, operating, and organizational infrastructure of the firm, and enjoys working with Owners, Senior Executives, and Project Managers to support their success.

“Mat” graduated 1st in his college class, was a rugby player and swims a mile most mornings. He enjoys the outdoors, biking, skiing, kayaking, fishing, golfing, and exploring our great country. He’s a family man, kid’s sports coach, and church volunteer. Mat loves a good steak and Ben & Jerry’s ice cream.
